Hunk

Male Beauty is the topic. Why not start wi' a bang!

Hunk is the word.
Ben is the name.

Hunk: informal, a large, strong, sexually attractive man (OED).

Enter hunk on google and you're in for a treat.

A pic of Andrew Cooper, from the Diet Coke ad, is one among hundreds available online.

Ben easily fits the category n' definition of hunk.

Yet Ben isn't just an ad model.

Ben is a real man:
Austrian - MSc in Marketing & Strategy at University of Warwick, successfully established as a businessman in Austria.

Ben, as known by his friends,
can show off the typical muscles of the hunky male type - yummy...

Muscles which Ben
cultivated over the years
with vigorous and disciplined
workout sessions at the gym.

But Ben is no dumb-bell.

Ben can fill a tight gym top
that will let your tongue hanging out...

...as much as he can fill an
elegant n' expensive businessman suit.

Ben is a hunky manly man, fun, n' with a sharp sense of humour
ready to spike...

...who is also highly educated,
responsible, successful to the bone, and...

Spoiler alert for t' lads and ladies gushing over keyboard!

... a one lady's man.
This hunky hot piece of meat is already taken by a dead gorgeous Italian lady who owes nothing to Anna Wintour in terms of style:
Valeria (PhD in Translations Studies at University of Warwick).

When Ben kindly accepted my invitation to submit pics,
and contribute for this blog, he offered:
"I have a pic whe' you can see my gun sticking up in the air".

Lock n' load big hunk.

Ben is the name. Hunk is the word.
Whilst the OED definition of hunk applies to
the physical type of a man like Ben,
as a real man Ben greatly surpasses such image label.

Ben's physical beauty is associated with a none less visible
image of education, entrepreneurship, n' success.

So, as a word, hunk hardly live up to rightly categorise
Ben's beauty in the English language. Perhaps,überhunk.

überhunk is the word.

English Beauty

This blog is devoted mainly to 2 topics: English & Male Beauty.

It’s actually a development of the blog thebook - a blog devoted to linguistic strangeness in English, i.e. less conventional features of the English tongue.

Pic from thebook...

The idea here is to intersect the topics English & Male Beauty
in a way that caters for two types of public:

Straight men keen in general about English.

Gif: Gym Buddies,
Mark and Tom
 from Little Britain USA

Gay men, or straight women, also keen on English, n' willing to appreciate pictures of beautiful males.

Gif: Jack and Amber-Louise in Will & Grace - S08,E18.

Disclaimer: the intersection of the topics English & Male Beauty
may not be perfectly executed at some posts.

Nevertheless, the reader is assured that each posts will bring a picture of a beautiful male n' at least one word or expression of the English tongue.

Dont hate me... catchphrase used by actress n' model Kelly LeBrock for the Pantene shampoo ad, created in the 80's.
Dont hate me... is currently used mostly with an ironic sense.

Whilst the reader is free to express appreciation or criticise the posts, he/she should be aware that posts are created to have undertones of camp humour.

Visits n' comments, all welcome.
